      • COFFEE ARTISANS

We are at the forefront of artisan roasting in Australia, living, tasting and roasting coffee everyday to perfection. 4M COFFEE CO revolves around true and trusted techniques that we’ve not only refined but also perfected.

Our family has been roasting coffee for over 20 years. It started with my father’s passion for the liquid gold. Having grown up to be a farmer, then graduated to become captain on commercial shipping. He made his way to the Australia perfecting his craft in the food and the café industry.

Throughout this time, the necessity for a vibrant, full bodied espresso grew, remembering the mouth watering espressos he had grown up with, he decided to take the leap. Using his acquired knowledge from being a grower, food lover and machine operator, he stared roasting with his first 3 kilo roaster.

As the years past, we have now established a coffee roasting plant and continue to and create perfect blends for a wide range of clients. In this time we have created our own roasting technique.

Many requests to brand and rebrand for wholesale, distributors and cafes alike, respect our unique approach.

Our brand, 4M came about whilst coffee tasting around Italy in the many cafes and rosters. We heard a saying about the perfect espresso. To make the perfect extraction for an espresso, there were 4 areas of importance:

        • MANO meaning hand; the persons operating equipment, barista
        • MACHINA meaning machines; well set up, good equipment, grinder and machine is needed
        • MISCELA meaning blend; a well-balanced blend with quality beans in the mix.
        • MACHINATURA meaning grinding; the right grinder adjustment is crucial for the espresso
