An all-round easy tea, blended with ingredients from India, Sri Lanka and China. The malty base comes from combining curled leaf Assam with a rich short leaf Chinese red. The lengthy middle notes of Ceylon black teas add balance to allow the tea versatility.
Best brewed at 90c for around 2 minutes in teapot.
Earl Grey
Layers of Ceylon leaf are carefully laid out and infused with oils extracted from the bergamot fruit to create this historic tea. Brilliant blue cornflowers interplay the intense fragrance with an equally vibrant aesthetic.
Best brewed at 90c for around 2 minutes in teapot.
Masala Chai
Using an authentic recipe with the Assam CTC (cut, tear & curl) tealeaf as its base. As it is brewed generally with about 50% milk the CTC process brings out a strong base to cut through the milk.
Blended with traditional spices, this tea offers a rich and true masala aroma.
Best brewed at 95c for around 2 minutes in teapot.
Peppermint
The Fayoum organic farm just west of the Nile is home to this lush green peppermint. Artesian waters and historically nutrient-rich soils facilitate strong yields, rendering conventional farming for this popular herb unnecessary. Continual standing orders mean we receive fresh batches regularly.
Best brewed at 90c for around 2 minutes and 40 seconds in teapot.
Lemon Grass Ginger
The combination of lemongrass and ginger offers a integrating and warm cup citrus under tones and the addition of fennel and calendula there is the added mint and anise notes. A great cup for after hard exercise or to calm down a cold.
Best brewed at 90c for around 2 minutes 40 seconds in teapot. Served great with some honey.
